What a digital twin is on Candy AI

Candy AI's catalog is mostly fictional: characters with invented names and generated faces. The Chat with Creators section is different. Each card there carries the name of a real adult performer or content creator, a verification mark, and a follower count pulled from social media. Behind the card is an AI companion trained to look and talk like that creator, which the platform and the wider industry call a digital twin.

The idea is not unique to Candy AI. Riley Reid co-founded a company built on the same concept in 2023, and several performers now license their likeness to AI companion services in exchange for a share of revenue. What Candy AI adds is scale: the twins sit inside the same app as the fictional companions, and the most prominent ones also headline scripted video series in the Candy Shorts feed.

Two things are worth stating plainly. The twin is a generated model, so what you see and hear is not the person recording new material for you. And the program is official: the platform lists these creators under its Candy Creators label, with the creator's name and a verified mark on the chat card and the creator's signature beside the x candy.ai mark on the series posters.

Creators available now

The Chat with Creators grid lists ten names as of September 2026. Four of them also appear in the Shorts feed and have their own guide on this site.

The lineup changes. New cards carry a New badge for a few weeks, and a creator with a chat twin can gain a series later, which is how the four featured names got theirs. We update this table when the grid changes.

Creator series in the Shorts feed

The Shorts feed has a section called Shorts featuring Creators. Its posters follow a template: the creator's signature, the x candy.ai mark, and a title card in the style of a streaming original. Eight series are listed as of September 2026:

Structurally these work like the platform's other series: five numbered episodes at launch, one to three minutes each, the first two episodes free and the rest behind a Premium plan. Two of them, Blackout at My Yacht Party and Professor Mia, carry Candy.ai's Spicy tag and have no free episodes. The difference is the lead. Instead of an invented character, the protagonist is a generated likeness of the named creator, and the premise usually plays on that: My Wife's Best Friend, for instance, opens with the question of what happens when a world-famous performer moves in.

What you can do with a creator twin

A creator twin behaves like any Candy AI companion, with the same feature set the subscription unlocks: text chat, voice messages, generated images on request, and short generated video clips. Free accounts can open the chat with limits; Premium removes most of them. The twin's personality is written by the platform and stays in character as that person.

There are limits that follow from the technology. The twin does not know anything the creator has not made public, it does not pass messages to the real person, and it cannot arrange anything outside the app. Requests that would breach the platform's rules are refused regardless of whose face is on the card. If you are looking for a way to contact the creator, the twin is not it; the creator's own social profiles are.

How this differs from deepfakes

Deepfake content uses a real person's face without permission. Creator twins on Candy AI are the opposite: the creator's name is on the card, the series posters carry their signature and the x candy.ai mark, and the program is marketed openly under the Candy Creators label. That is what separates a licensed likeness from a deepfake, and it is why the featured creators are established professionals with a commercial stake in the arrangement rather than random public figures. Riley Reid co-founded a company built on exactly this model in 2023.

One wrinkle: the companion site's terms still contain boilerplate stating that no real individuals are depicted in its content. The creator series are an exception to that language, and the terms had not been updated to reflect it as of September 2026. If that matters to you, the platform's support team is the place to ask.

Cost and access

Creator twins and creator series are included in the standard plans rather than sold separately. As of September 2026 the companion site listed a 12-month plan at $3.99 per month, a 3-month plan at $8.99 per month, and a monthly plan at $13.99. Inside the Candy.ai app, some episodes also consume tokens. The creator lineup requires no separate purchase, and no legitimate channel sells access to a twin outside the platform.
